Terms of Service

Last updated: May 14, 2026

Agreement

By creating an account or using Speakr, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

Voice cloning consent

You may only clone voices you legally have the right to use. This means:

  • Your own voice, or
  • A voice for which you have written permission from the rightful owner, or
  • A voice in the public domain (rare and you must be able to prove it).

Cloning someone's voice without their permission is impersonation and may violate laws including fraud, defamation, and right-of-publicity statutes. We require a spoken consent recording before any clone is created and verify it via speech-to-text comparison.

Prohibited use

You agree not to use Speakr to:

  • Impersonate any person without their explicit, documented permission.
  • Generate audio for fraud, scams, harassment, blackmail, or election interference.
  • Create content involving minors in a sexual or harmful context.
  • Bypass consent verification (e.g. uploading silence as the consent recording).
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or compete directly with the service.

We may suspend or terminate any account in violation, and report illegal use to authorities.

Your content

You retain all rights to scripts you submit and audio we generate from your voices. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and deliver this content solely to provide the service to you.

Billing

Paid plans renew monthly until canceled. Cancel any time in Billing — you keep access through the end of the current period. Usage above plan quotas may be blocked or billed per our posted overage rates.

Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” without warranty. Generated audio may occasionally contain artifacts, mispronunciations, or unintended inflections. Always review before publishing.
